Construction of this new Primary School took place alongside a live school environment which involved careful planning so as not to affect the school’s day-to-day operations.  Tom Weedon MCIOB, Senior Site Manager for Morgan Sindall, offers an insight into this new build project enabling viewers to understand the processes used in the build.  He begins with a presentation detailing the creation of a new hall, classroom spaces, kitchen and multi-use games area, before a site visit showing the building work in progress.  The new school buildings embrace the DfE’s objectives toward net zero carbon, achieved through sustainable design and construction processes.
