Following on from the success of the CIOB’s session at the Sydney Build Expo on “Artificial Intelligence in the Construction Industry: How it will shape the future of  health and safety”, the CIOB partnered with Jennie Baker, Principal Solicitor of Jennie Baker Law to host a Q&A session with Professor Andrew T Harris, Prof of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney and Australian director of Laing O’Rourke’s future engineering and innovation consultancy, the Engineering Excellence Group on the same subject.

The event provided attendees the opportunity to be involved in an open discussion with Australia’s leaders in innovation and engineering regarding the growth of AI in the construction industry and how it would impact their business.

This session will be of particular interest to directors, engineers, project managers, in-house counsel and lawyers in the construction and engineering sectors.
